President Salva Kiir led celebrations marking the fourth anniversary of South Sudan's independence from Khartoum. Ugandan President Yoweri Museveni accompanied Kiir.

Others present included high level delegations from Ethiopia, Kenya, Democratic Republic of Congo, and Angola.
