The UN House base is near to the Jebel area of Juba, where some of the heaviest fighting took place.

These photos were published by UNMISS online and were taken by Eric Kanalstein.

The captions read: “IDP’s from the 2 PoC sites around the UN House HQ in Juba as well as South Sudanese from nearby vilages take cover and refuge during the initial clashes that have rocked Juba for the past 4 days.”
