Citizen team (in black) won over the Black Stars (in white) 78 to 61 as part of the Central Equatoria State Basketball Association league at Nimira Talata Basketball stadium in Juba on Thursday.

This match was match number 52 in the eleventh week of the competition. The Black Stars appeared weaker than usual in the match resulting in a too-easy win for Citizen. Supporters of the club attributed this to the absence of some key players including Ajou Luol.

During the four quarters Citizen outsored Black Stars 18-11 in the first, 12-11 in the scond, 21-19 in the third, and 29-19 in the fourth.
