Benin defeated South Sudan by two goals to one at Juba Stadium on Wednesday in the African Nations Cup 2017 qualifiers.
Benin scored its first goal in the first half by the player Qastindo, in the second half Benin scored another goal by Muki.
South Sudan scored its only goal in the second half by the player Sebit Bruno.
By this result Benin comes out on the top of the third group with 5 points, Mali 4, South Sudan 3 points, Equatorial Guinea one point.
The match was attended FIFA President Gianni Infantino, who made his first visit to South Sudan. Gianni during his visit met with the president Salva Kiir Mayardit and opened the new headquarters of the South Sudan football association .
Gianni will visit after South Sudan, Ethiopia, Djibouti, and Gabon, host of the 2017 Africa Cup.
The match was attended also by the Vice President James Wani, and from the SPLM-IO Taban Deng, among other politicians.
