A peaceful coexistence conference between communities in Katila locality in Sudan’s South Darfur is expected to be held in collaboration with the local authorities and local administration on Tuesday.

A peaceful coexistence conference between communities in Katila locality in Sudan’s South Darfur is expected to be held in collaboration with the local authorities and local administration on Tuesday.

Speaking to Radio Tamazuj, Madawi Mohammed, a leader from Katila, said the conference will be held on Tuesday with the participation of the commissioners of three localities and local administrator from Bani Halab, Al-Gamar and Taisha tribes.

“The peaceful coexistence will be held on Tuesday in Haraza with participation of all tribal components in the area,” said Madawi. “We hope this conference will be a good step for the situation to come to normalcy.”

Additionally, Madawi revealed routes for Bani Halab cattle movements and grazing from Katila to Gwaz Dangu has been identified after three years.
