Relatives of patients at Juba Teaching Hospital have complained of power cuts for two days amid the absence of the hospital authorities.

A number of relatives in the hospital who were interviewed by Radio Tamazuj said the patients are complaining of power cuts for two days and shortages of basic services.

They called on the government to urgently intervene to solve the power cuts problem.

Responding to this issue, Director of the Accidents Department at Juba Teaching Hospital Dr. Abraham Maduot confirmed to Radio Tamazuj that there is a power cut in the hospital due to a problem in the generator.

He downplayed the complaints from the patients and their relatives, saying technicians are working to solve this problem.
