Several Sudanese pastors and evangelists at the Evangelical Church in Khartoum North have threatened to escalate protests over what they term grabbing of church land.
The protests by church leaders ran for three days so far after the eastern and northern part of the church were demolished by authorities.
On 20 November, security personnel took over the house of a pastor at a church compound, claiming the land was owned by investors who want to build a shopping centre.
A source told Radio Tamazuj that the protesting pastors vowed to continue with protests until the investment campaign on church properties comes to an end.
