The Department of Immigration and Nationality Services in South Sudan’s Twic State has resumed its normal processing of applications for renewal and issuance of new passports and ID cards on Thursday after closure for two months.

Speaking to reporters on Thursday, the director of passports and nationality in Twic state, Col. Angelo Ater said the office was close for two months because they were experiencing technical difficulties with the printing process. He revealed that the problem has been fixed and that they are now working normally.

The police officer regretted any inconvenience caused during the two months period when the printing services were halted in the state.
