Parliament in Juba goes three days without sittings

South Sudan's parliament has failed to conduct sittings this week for the third consecutive day this Wednesday.

Last week the parliament information committee chairman blamed absence of electricity for the failure to conduct sittings, but the parliament has had power this week.

Today when asked to explain what the house is doing, Oliver Mori Benjamin, the information chairman, declined to comment on why the house had had three days of no sitting this week.
