On Tuesday, Michael Malual, who claimes to be head of the SPLM Youth League in Ruweng State said Governor Miyol Kur Akuei arrested the former Commissioner of Pariang County Monylang Manyiel and another party official for criticizing his leadership style.
Minister Angok told Radio Tamazuj that the two officials were not arrested. However, he admitted that the former commissioner was summoned by the police. “Monylang Manyiel is now working as a police officer, and he is active in politics, so when his office noticed that, he was summoned, he was not arrested,” he said.
