Over 7000 Wau girls receive cash to go to school

Over 7,000 female pupils and students in various schools have received money as incentive to go to school in Wau town in South Sudan’s Western Bahr el Ghazal State.

Over 7,000 female pupils and students in various schools have received money as incentive to go to school in Wau town in South Sudan’s Western Bahr el Ghazal State.

Team leader Andrea Amet Opio told Radio Tamazuj that distribution of financial amounts aimed to encouraging girls to continue with education.

Andrea pointed out that the project is supported by the British government in cooperation with the National Ministry Education and other partners in order to cover the necessary needs for girls across South Sudan.
