The Commissioner of Rubkona county in South Sudan’s proposed Liech state said on Tuesday that more displaced people are leaving the UN protection site in Bentiu and returning to their homes in Panyijar and Nhialdiu during this rainy season.

Speaking to Radio Tamazuj, Commissioner Salam Malueth said more than 60 families have left the camps recently. He said the security situation in the area has improved since the formation of the translational government of national unity.

Malueth called on humanitarian organizations to provide food for the displaced who left the POC site and returned to their homes.
