About fifty representatives of traditional leaders, civil society groups and government have undergone a training workshop on corruption and accountability in Aweil State.

Speaking to Radio Tamazuj on Wednesday last week, Bulis Nguak, the senior legal officer for Help Restore Youth, a national organization said, “Our aim is to make citizens to know their rights. When they know their rights I think they will be able to call for it.”

“The other thing also when they know the roles and functions of the government, they will be able to hold the government accountable when the government doesn’t implement certain services delivery,’’ he added.
