Over 467,000 students sit for Sudan secondary certificate

Al-Sier al-Sheikh said there are about 3,550 exams centers inside and outside the country and about 164 students will sit for the exams in prisons.

He confirmed to Sudan News Agency (SUNA) that all preparations are done to start the examinations today, adding that there are safe points for students sitting in North and South Darfur states to take the exams in.

Separately, Abdullrahiem Ibrahim Abu Nafiesah, head of Badr al-Kubra basic school in Kadugli said the basic school examination has ended last Thursday without any problems.

He pointed out that there were no students brought from outside the town to sit for the exams.

Abu Nafiesah told Radio Tamazuj that some students sitting for the Sudan Certificate Examination were transferred from Dalami and Hebila to sit for the exams in Dilling town.
