Twic East Commissioner Dau Akoi Jurkuch told Radio Tamazuj that heavy rains also affected service delivery and movements of citizens in the area.

The commissioner pointed out that the flood-stricken people were experiencing harsh humanitarian conditions due to a lack of aid assistance in the area. The local official called on humanitarian organizations to provide relief to the needy people as soon as possible.

Separately, Dau Akoi Jurkuch said that unidentified gunmen attacked Aluel area near Wanglei payam on Wednesday. Dau Akoi pointed out that one person was seriously wounded and that he was taken to Panyapoor Hospital for treatment.
