South Sudan Television has been accused of bias by the spokesperson for First Vice President Riek Machar.

South Sudan Television has been accused of bias by the spokesperson for First Vice President Riek Machar.

In an email to Radio Tamajuz, James Gatdet Dak says that SSTV has been unfair with its coverage of Machar.

“The management of the TV has been illegally censoring whatever message that comes from the Office of the First Vice President. While they broadcast some of his official meetings and speeches in churches, they yet censor the contents and remove unwanted ones” Dak wrote.

Dak accused SSTV of refusing to broadcast interactions between Machar and other officials.

“This war mentality rivalry needs to stop and the TV should serve the entire nation and its leaders” he wrote
