The Northern Liech State Government, under the leadership of Gen. Salva Kiir Mayardit President of Republic of South Sudan and the State Governor Dr Joseph Nguen Manytuil congratulates the people of the Republic of South Sudan and the particularly the people of the Greater Bentiu (Northern Liech State) – based on the researched data, Bentiu Communities are the most self-liberated communities since the colonial era and they have been relying on themselves through the creation of stable local traditional economies which see them self-reliable in long term and short term as well.

These communities are cattle herders and agriculturalists and they understand fundamentally that their lives depends on the local resources they have and if misused will end the up in a complete cycle of mayhem in certain seasons, with that in mind, they put forward modalities which are enshrined into traditional laws that are guiding the communities and the laws that regulates traditional rulers in the communities.

Greater Bentiu comprises of Nuer, Dinka and a few Misseriya located at the lower northern part of Bentiu, they have been living together and understand very well their way of life, making them coherently cooperate among themselves until South Sudan got her independence in 2011.

Historically, Greater Bentiu communities are known in the struggle of our independence, given the fact that they border North Sudan who were our dominant rulers at a time, this history had been backed with the presence of natural resources which are the main resources in Greater Bentiu making Bentiu geographical land a target from the enemies of peace who are shortsighted by resources (crude oil) making the State to build hatred among themselves and this had caused rifts between communities.

Having realized that our suffering as a people comes through hands of enemies of peace and disgruntled politicians who try to instigates issues among the communities, it’s important for the communities to unite and rally behind their son and leader who understands their needs and cares for them in many ways, Dr Joseph Nguen Manytuil who have in the past done a number of successful things in the state.

He in the past works very much to establish the current landmarks structures that are in place in greater Bentiu now, from schools, hospitals and government offices, from the state capital to the counties, it’s something that people of greater Bentiu appreciates and recognizes as we lives together today.

As one Nation, one People, one community it’s time to praise our leaders who are charismatic and influential and are up to the task of delivering services to the people and the entire Nation and today Dr Joseph Manytuil had it all, he formed a Government which comprises of everyone, every community, a well structured government with sense of profession and patriotism in our Country today, we must teaches ourselves as communities to recognizes and promotes our cadres like Dr Manytuil and other likes of his characters to move forwards and joins hands with our president Gen Salva Kiir Mayardit to move our country to the final stability and general coherencies in our communities in the new Republic of South Sudan.

It’s important to note that, today some of so called disgruntled politicians who think they can steer this country to betterment have a killer ideology that is crippling our country through active sabotage from them even after being pardon and accepted in the Government of Transitional of National Unity, its very unfortunates that we are not observing and evaluating ourselves instead pride take us over and we turns to leave our objectives and goals for this country direction.

Let us embrace Peace, Unity and Nationalism and our South Sudan will move forwards

So, instead of dragging the leadership backwards, stand with us and let us move forwards and we will realizes stability, security, prosperous economic.
