Police authorities in the South Sudanese capital Juba have arrested a suspect in connection with the killing of a national security officer last month.
Khamis Mathew Chuol, a national security officer, was found dead in Juba in late January.
Police Spokesman Daniel Justin Boula told Radio Tamazuj today that a man was arrested in connection with the killing of Khamis Mathew earlier this week. Daniel could not give more details saying that investigations are ongoing.
“There is progress on the case but we cannot give any details right now. Any details given can affect the ongoing investigation,” he said.
