A 23 year old man known as Kulong Maniong Mabom was ambushed and shot dead on his way to a cattle camp in western Lakes States (now known also as Gok State) last week.
The Commissioner of Abiriu County Bol Madok Dhuol told Radio Tamazuj on Friday that the organizing forces are searching for the person who killed late Kulong Maniong.
Bol mentioned that about seven people have been killed within this week in violent incidents.
He appealed to the family of the victim to be patient and wait for government to take measures.
The father of the deceased Maniong Mabom Kulong called on the government to improve the security in the state as the rate of the death is increasing on daily basis and no tough measures have been taken by the state government.
The Director of Radio at the State Ministry of Information Mathew Chol Monydhel has confirmed the incident, adding that the state government is trying its best to stabilize security.
Early this week, four people were killed and two wounded in Abiriu County by suspected armed youth from Western Lakes state.
