One killed, two wounded by ‘SAF bombing’ in Rashad, South Kordofan

At least one person was reportedly killed and two children wounded when the Sudanese Air Force allegedly dropped bombs on a small village in the Rashad area of South Kordofan in Sudan.

At least one person was reportedly killed and two children wounded when the Sudanese Air Force allegedly dropped bombs on a small village in the Rashad area of South Kordofan in Sudan.

The victims were identified as Igbal Al Rashid Omer (18) who was killed in the incident and the two children, Khadija Yusuf and Nurein Ahmed Abdullah who have seriously sustained injuries.

“The Sudanese Air Force attacked several villages in Rashad  yesterday. As a result, an 18-year-old lady Igba Omer was instantly killed and two children were seriously injured, as well as 41 heads of cattle killed in that incident” an eye witness explained.    

The attack caused fear and horror among the civil population in Rashad. They appealed to the international community to put pressure on Khartoum regime to stop bombing innocent civilians. “Due to the latest attack on Rashad villages, sizable number of citizens fled to Al Karakir and Jebal to seek safe refuge” a source confirmed.
