At least one person was shot dead and three others including a child sustained injuries in two separate attacks carried out by unknown gunmen along the Mundri-Juba and Torit- Kapoeta roads in the Equatoria region on Sunday.
An eyewitness, who preferred not to be named, told Radio Tamazuj that one person was killed and two others injured in an attack on a vehicle between Luri and Rokon along the Juba-Mundri road.
Separately, a survivor said that an eight-year-old child was wounded when an armed group attacked their bus along the Torit-Kapoeta road on Sunday.
He pointed out the armed group robed all their belongings, saying most of the passengers were going to Kenya’s refugee camp.
