One person was killed and three others seriously injured when a grenade exploded in Al-Goz Locality in Sudan’s South Kordofan State on Tuesday.
In a press statement seen by Radio Tamazuj on Tuesday, Al-Goz Locality Commissioner, Al-Mekki Ismail Gadim said the incident happened in a farm where the four affected people were working.
Gadim further said the grenade exploded after the farmers touched it.
The commissioner pointed out that the three wounded people were rushed to the hospital where they are currently undergoing treatment. He urged all citizens to report unexploded ordinance they find to authorities to avoid further accidents.
