US President Barack Obama on Saturday called for an end to the 19-month-old civil war in South Sudan.
In a joint press conference after talks with Kenyan President Uhuru Kenyatta, Obama urged the warring leaders to “put their country first” in order to bring an end to the ongoing civil war.
Obama is set to meet in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia Monday with delegations from Kenya, Uganda, Ethiopia, and Sudan on the topic of ending South Sudan’s war.
