Heiban County of Nuba Mountains on Friday concluded a training workshop for local chiefs.
Commissioner Mubarak Bolis Tutu said the workshop was to equip chiefs with administrative knowledge.
He advised the chiefs to work hard in resolving disputes in the County. He also discouraged the local authorities from segregation and tribalism.
One of the participants in the workshop Seluwa Kapi Arnu said the training equipped her with leadership skills. She appreciated the County Commissioner’s initiative of training chiefs.
The training took place within the SPLA-held territory of the Nuba Mountains. The ceremony attracted thousands of people.
