Speaking to Radio Tamazuj on Tuesday, Health Minister in Northern Upper Nile, Paulino Awana said the shortage of drugs and lack of medical personnel is a drawback in their efforts to prevent cholera that has already claimed lives in neighbouring states of Sudan in Joda and Jebellen.

Awana revealed that a committee has been formed to be on the lookout for any cholera cases in the area.
