The governor of South Sudan’s Northern Liech State Joseph Nguen Monytuil reshuffled his cabinet Tuesday.

Monytuil, in a gubernatorial decree, removed the Local Government, Information, Physical Infrastructure, Agriculture, Health and Rural Development ministers. He also removed the commissioner of Bul West County.

Separately, the governor appointed Thomas Wijal Choap as the new Minister of Local Government, David Gai Jijor as Minister of Information, Lam Tungwar as the new Minister of Physical Infrastructure, Luka Chierei Riek as the new Minister of Agriculture, Kur Yach Nop as the Minister of Health and Tutlid Jiech as the new Minister of Rural Development.

The governor also appointed Stephen Salam Maluit as the new commissioner of Rubkona County. He also removed William Bajoch Makuit from his position as commissioner of Bul West County.

The state security adviser Gordon Malou Chiling said Tuesday’s gubernatorial decree was a normal administrative exercise.
