Farmers in Northern Bahr al Ghazal state said they are happy with this year’s farming season, pointing out that if the rains continue they will have a good harvest.

Speaking to Radio Tamazuj yesterday, several farmers said this year’s rains have been consistent and stable. However, other farmers complained that there are few labourers, as many have migrated to neighbouring Sudan due to hunger in the area.
