A man who fired a gun near to the Juba Market this morning has been apprehended and nobody was injured in the incident, according to a security source in Juba.
The shooting occurred near to the CID facility located near Juba Market when a man allegedly seized a weapon from a policeman and opened fire in the air. CID personnel responded to the incident and more shots were fired, reportedly also into the air. They eventually apprehended the perpetrator unharmed.
The source said that the shooter had been under investigation at the CID office earlier in the day.
