Nimra Talata (in white) beat Nasser (in yellow) by 116 points compared to 50 points on Wednesday in basketball competitions organized by the Central Equatoria Basketball Association (CEBA) at Nimra Talata basketball Stadium in Juba.
Nasser was handicapped during the match by a lack of bench players and played the entire match with five players only and no replacements. Nasser’s coach Shingiti said that many of the players are new and don’t have experience.
The basketball matches had been stalled for a week as a result of the demonstration of the referees against the actions of some coaches. The secretary general of the Central Equatoria Basketball Association CEBA Sabit Maclely said that the situation returned to normal after each side apologized to the other.
