Ngok Dinka, Misseriya to hold peace conference in Aweil

A three-day peace conference between Ngok Dinka and Misseriya Arab tribes is scheduled to take place in Aweil town in South Sudan's Northern Bahr al Ghazal state next week.

Stephen Mawen, an employee of the Concordis organization, told Radio Tamazuj that the conference will open on 22 April an end on 25 April.

He said about 45 representatives of the Misseriya and 45 representatives of the Ngok Dinka tribes will participate, besides five Rizeigat tribal leaders and five from Dinka Malual tribe.

Stephen said the meeting aims to explore peaceful coexistence between the different tribes.
