NGO compound robbed in Juba

Armed robbers forcefully broke into an international NGO in the Tongping neighborhood of Juba on September 9th, witnesses tell Radio Tamazuj.

Carrying guns, the robbers stole dozens of laptops and mobile phones, as well as two kindles. A safe was allegedly stolen with over $2,000 and 90,000 SSP.

The attackers allegedly beat the staff, and the attack lasted half an hour in total. It is the third time the NGO has been robbed in less than two months, and no arrests have been made so far.
