NGO compound robbed in Bor town

Armed robbers forcefully broke into an NGO compound in Bor town in Jonglei State on Friday, witnesses told Radio Tamazuj.

Carrying guns, the robbers stole three laptops, money, shoes and clothes as well as mobile phones. The robbers allegedly stole 100 liters of diesel.

The eyewitnesses identified the NGO as charity International Aid Services (IAS). They claimed that two aid workers were beaten by the armed robbers.

Armed robbery targeting aid workers is on the rise in the country owning to worsening economic situation.
