A new construction company will take over the work formerly undertaken by BASS Construction on the road between Kajo-Keji and Morobo.
Uncompleted bridges between the two towns remain a hurdle for travelers.
A representative of UNOPS met recently with the County Commissioner to discuss plans for breaking own and reconstructing bridges along the route. Bridges are needed across three rivers, the Kayibo, Konyo and Kaya.
Reportedly the bridges built by BASS Construction Company have not been opened for vehicle use and the Kayaya bridge broke before being completed.
