The Chief Administrator of Greater Pibor Administrative Area (GPAA) David Yau Yau has restructured his cabinet among growing complains from the residents of the newly created administrative area.
The reshuffle is the first of its kind since the formation of GPAA. Residents in the area have been complaining of lack of services, which GPAA officials have in turn blamed on the national government’s failure to allocate budget to the area as earlier promised.
The reshuffle made on 15 July but announced on 17 July affected the Administrator of Finance Hon. Okony Simon Morri and Joseph Lilimo, Administrator for Administration and Finance.
Apee Ojullo who held position of Deputy Chief Administrator for Service Delivery was appointed to the post of Administrator for Finance replacing Okony Simon Morri.
Hon. David Okiewer , an MP representing Pochalla County in the national government was appointed as Deputy Chief Administrator of the Greater Pibor Administrative Area.
Khalid Ono was appointed as Deputy Chief Administrator for Administration and Finance, a source said.
