New orphanage center opened in Bor

A South Sudanese business woman has started a center for orphans and vagrants in the Jonglei State capital, Bor.

A South Sudanese business woman has started a center for orphans and vagrants in the Jonglei State capital, Bor.

Speaking to Radio Tamazuj on Friday, Aluel Nhial said Blessed Home for Orphans and Vagrants Center was opened to show support and solidarity for children lacking parental care.

She said the center currently provides shelter and basic needs for 20 children, with plans to accommodate more street children in Bor.

Aluel urged charity organizations to support the vulnerable children.

While launching the center, Jonglei State governor, Philip Aguer lauded the initiative and pledged his full support for the new center.

He also appealed for support from aid agencies towards the center.
