New officials to take office in Greater Pibor Administrative Area

A top official in the Greater Pibor Administrative Area (GPAA) was sworn in on Tuesday and more are expected to do the same in the coming days, in the first leadership reshuffle since the establishment of the administrative area.

A top official in the Greater Pibor Administrative Area (GPAA) was sworn in on Tuesday and more are expected to do the same in the coming days, in the first leadership reshuffle since the establishment of the administrative area.

David Okwier was sworn in on Tuesday, 4 August, as Deputy Chief Administrator for Service Delivery, according to sources from the area. The event took place after Chief Administrator David Yau Yau announced the reshuffle on 15 July.

Two more officials will be sworn in in the coming days, the sources added.
