New health projects for conflict-affected families in Blue Nile

Pan-Care International organization announced a plan to implement a health emergency project targeting 13,000 conflict-affected families in Sudan’s Blue Nile State.

Yassin Abdel-Hamid Abu Kadok, director of the organization, told the Sudanese News Agency that the project includes a mobile clinic, laboratory, and pharmacy.

Yassin said his organization distributed blankets, mosquito nets, and water containers to people in Dem Saad areas and Villages 3 and 5 with a support from the World Health Organization.

He revealed that there are health projects that will be implemented by the organization in various areas in the state soon.

In late August, Humanitarian Aid Commissioner in Blue Nile, Assad Hamza Adam said the conflict affected people need food and shelter. A parliamentarian also said the affected people from Ingessina Mountain still need more humanitarian assistance.
