A new daily English-language newspaper has appeared on streets of South Sudan capital Juba on Monday morning.
The Independent is published under a private media entity.
The newly launched newspaper is headed by editor–in-chief Riak Maker with Michael Rial Christopher as chairman.
The Independent joins a small group of other English-language newspapers distributed in South Sudan’s capital.
