Goc Makuac has been sworn in as the new deputy minister of finance in the capital Juba on Tuesday.
The swearing in ceremony was conducted by Justice Ayak Diir Khom before President Salva Kiir.
Goc Makuac replaces Athian Diing Athian who was sacked on July 27 by Kiir. David Nailo, chairperson of the parliamentary committee for finance was present when Makuac took his oath of office.
The event was also attended by finance minister Salvatore Garang and acting SPLM Secretary General Jemma Nunu Kumba.
