New Arabic newspaper on streets of Juba

A new Arabic newspaper El Tabeer (‘Expression’) has appeared on the streets of South Sudan’s capital Juba since Tuesday.

A new Arabic newspaper El Tabeer (‘Expression’) has appeared on the streets of South Sudan’s capital Juba since Tuesday.

The paper is headed by editor-in-chief Wazir Michael and established by a private company Greater Yambio. The paper was lauched after Al Rai newspaper, also headed by Wazir Michael, was closed down by National Security in August.

The paper will print an estimated 1500 copies daily and it joins three other daily Arabic newspaper.
