An army commander allied to the opposition National Democratic Movement (NDM) led by Dr. Lam Akol Ajawin has tendered his resignation citing poor management and lack of responsibility within the movement.

Chia Daniel Amum told Radio Tamazuj on Monday accused the party’s leadership of working with a select few whose interests are served by the movement.

However, NDM secretary for political affairs Mahjoub Biel Turuk dismissed the allegations as false.

He added that the movement operates as an institution seeking peace for the whole country and not individuals.
