Khamis Mathew Chuol, a national security officer, was found dead in the capital Juba on Sunday.

Police spokesman confirmed told Radio Tamazuj today that they had received a report about a national security officer found killed in Juba. “We have recorded the case and investigations are underway. I cannot give details right now,” he said.

“It is true that we have a case of one of the national security officers killed in Juba,” he added.

Nyanchiok Mathew Chuol, the sister of the deceased, said her brother was killed by unknown people outside his resident in Juba on Saturday. She pointed out that that Khamis’ body was found dumped on the streets on Sunday. Nyanchiok declined to provide more details on the incident.
