South Sudan’s National Security Service last Friday evening arrested the Chief Executive Officer of KASS Security Company, Kerbino Wol. Wol was summoned to the NNS headquarters in Jebel.

KASS is a security provider of both man guarding and technology solutions. It is a South Sudanese company founded in 2010.

Sources told Radio Tamazuj today that Kerbino went to the NSS headquarters together with his driver after being summoned.

“Kerbino went together with his driver but the driver was asked by security officials to go back, so Kerbino remained in NSS detention center,” one of the sources said.

“Kerbino has never talked against the government. He has been advocating for youth empowerment through entrepreneurship,” one of his colleagues said.

Kerbino, who is a South Sudanese entrepreneur and philanthropist, was accused of having links with the rebels.

He has also been accused of trying to stage a coup against the current government in Juba.

Kerbino Wol hails from Tonj.
