The Ministry of General Education and Instruction on Friday announced that the national secondary school examinations will begin on April 18, 2022.
In a press conference in Juba, Minister Awut Deng Achuil said that preparations for the exams had been completed.
“The examinations begin on Monday 18, April 2022 and end by Wednesday 27 of April 2022,” she said.
According to the minister, 32,167 candidates will sit the final exams with 21,799 male and 10, 368 female students in 340 examination centers across the country.
Minister Awut said the ministry has made a great effort to register the students despite security challenges, the coronavirus pandemic, and floods.
About 34,536 students sat for the Secondary School Examinations in 2020.
