The steering committee for the South Sudan’s national dialogue said all armed opposition groups, including Riek Machar’s faction, will be consulted to take part in the dialogue process.
Alfred Taban, a member of the steering committee secretariat told Radio Tamazuj on Wednesday that they plans to carry out wider consultations with all stakeholders to participate in the national dialogue.
He revealed that some committees will be sent to all states and abroad to consult with all stakeholders, including civil society, media, women, youth, political parties and armed groups.
Last week, President Kiir, whose wrangling for power with his former deputy Riek Machar plunged the world's newest nation into a brutal conflict, launched the national dialogue.
He pointed out that the national dialogue will be bottom-top approach to address local grievances and political issues in the country.
