National consensus calls for Sudan and South Sudan to end fighting

The coalition of the national consensus alliance has called for the governments of Sudan and South Sudan to stop war and return to the negotiating table to resolve the issues between then.

They also call for humanitarian corridors to be opened to deliver aid to those affected by conflict in the border states of South Kordofan and Blue Nile.

He said support for the army during the occupation of Heglig does not mean the government should continue the war. 

He also called on the government to meet its financial commitments on Darfur in accordance with the Doha agreement.
