A Sudanese refugees in Yida Camp of Unity State in South Sudan was reported missing yesterday amid mysterious circumstances.
The refugees in the camp confirmed that Jamal Adam Isahaq, 35 years of age, disappeared without any trace.
Sheikh Hassan Ahmed Abel-Rahman, a refugee in Yida camp, told Radio Tamazuj that Jamal Adam was working in the market running a small shop for charging mobile phones. He hails from the Darfur region.
Jamal was seen the day before his disappearance in the market, and is known to have gone home. Sometime after 10 p.m. he was not seen again.
“We were together with Jamal at around eight o’clock in the evening but in the morning when I went to his residence, I did not find him – I just saw his clothes,” said Abdel-Rahman.
The source appealed to anyone who finds Jamal to report it to the United Nations center in the camp.
