Uganda’s President Yoweri Museveni has just arrived in Khartoum where he will be witnessing the signing of South Sudan’s peace agreement to end the conflict.

Uganda’s President Yoweri Museveni has just arrived in Khartoum where he will be witnessing the signing of South Sudan’s peace agreement to end the conflict.

Museveni was received by President Omar al-Bashir of Sudan upon arrival.

The agreement focuses on governance and security between the warring parties.

South Sudan’s President Salva Kiir, who promised to implement the agreement fully, has already arrived in Khartoum.

Riek Machar, who is the main opposition leader in South Sudan, is in Khartoum to sign the deal.
