Natalino Lasuba has been named the first commissioner of Mugwo country in Yei River State.
In recent weeks, Mugwo and Yei River State have seen fighting between government and opposition forces. Many in the region have fled to Uganda.
Lasuba called for cooperation, dialogue, peace and unity in the region.
“What we need is stable security, protection of the citizens and their properties, observation of rule of law and above all peace and stability in Mugwo county” a community member said on the condition of anonymit
