Medicine San Frontiers (MSF) says that it plans to open more cholera treatment centers in Juba and one in Yei to help patients affected with the disease.
The Catholic FM station Bakhita Radio reported that MSF Emergency Coordinator Sophie Sabatier said on Friday that MSF sent ten beds to Yei to support the response there.
MSF also have a treatment centre in Gudele Two, a neighborhood of Juba.
Mary Keji, a resident of Luri who brought her two children to Gudele Two Cholera Treatment Centre, said they drink dirty water and that their living conditions are poor.
She urged the government to provide clean drinking water and other basic services.
The World Health Organization said in an update on the outbreak that the cumulative number of suspected cholera cases in Yei reached to seven on Friday, including one death.
It said the other six cases were still admitted at Yei Civil Hospital as of Friday, where an isolation ward has been designated.
Four samples from Yei were sent to a laboratory for testing on Saturday.
